Nick Carrera has a deep passion for live fire grilling, which comes from his Argentine roots. Nick’s cherished memories of Asados as a child, and his desire to share those experiences with his own family, is the foundation for Urban Asado®. Nick believes a touch of history inspires every meal prepared on an Argentine grill. A history filled with passion and respect for the food to be shared with family and friends. That same history inspires each of Urban Asado’s grills.

Wanting to share his passion for grilling with our local community, Nick started the Sunday Asado series with Chef Michael Lugo. The Sunday Asado is a moment each month in which some of the area’s best chefs are able to showcase their amazing culinary talents, while interacting with guests in a fun and unique way. Asado enthusiasts now have another way to Experience Grilling®. Urban Asado® and Chef Matthew Brown have joined forces to bring you Leña, a mobile asado dining experience.
