Jesse Blanco is, without question, one of Savannah’s most recognizable personalities. His laid-back style and ability to connect with viewers and readers remain his calling card following a 24 year career in television news.
In 2010, Jesse and his business partner created a blog and later a television show dedicated to the underappreciated side of food in the South. Four years later, Savannah’s food scene exploded and Eat It and Like It found itself sitting in the front row to witness it all. Since 2014 he’s been the Savannah area’s only full time food writer. In 2023, his first book Savannah Food Crawls was published. That was followed by his 2nd title Charleston Food Crawls in early 2024.
Also in 2024, Eat It Florida was created to explore undiscovered great eats across the State of Florida.
