There are a variety of volunteer roles available to be involved in the festival, including festival operations, Auction Committee, admissions, beverage/culinary serving opportunities and general ambassadors for wayfinding and guest relations.
You must be 21 years of age or older to volunteer for the festival. Volunteers receive a souvenir St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival apron, souvenir glassware and an opportunity to enjoy the event in which they are volunteering after their shift ends – or even free event ticket opportunities, depending upon the number of volunteer hours a volunteer can commit. Volunteers that participate in volunteering over 8 hours in a variety of volunteer roles/shifts will earn a free “Smoke on the Walk” or “River Walk Tastings” ticket.
Volunteer attire includes black pants/shorts/skirts with collared white shirts. Depending upon the event (seated dinners, brunch, etc. will require long pants and long-sleeved collared shirts). All volunteers are not allowed to drink any alcoholic beverages while volunteering, will be required to wear closed-toe shoes and must sign a waiver of liability.
Volunteer aprons and credentials will need to be removed before participating in event tastings. A special discount Promo code will be provided to volunteers for opportunities to purchase St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival tickets. You will receive your promo code after signing-up for your volunteer shift.
There will be a mandatory attendance Volunteer Orientation Session scheduled on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 6 – 7 pm at the World Golf Village Renaissance St. Augustine Resort. Each volunteer will receive their festival credentials and apron at the Volunteer Orientation session.
